Building — launching now pvtltd.co

The operating system for Indian Private Limited companies. Incorporate in 7 days, automate every ROC filing, manage your cap table, and buy or sell a verified Pvt Ltd on our classifieds — A to Z, under one roof. Because founders should be building, not chasing deadlines they didn't know existed.

002
Building — launching now makeitlegit.in

Brutally honest incorporation advice. 21 structures, zero commissions, every answer cited to statute. Paid for the right answer, not for pushing you to incorporate — so we'll tell you the truth, including when the answer is "not yet." Because the best incorporation decision is the one that's right for you, not for someone's referral fee.

003
Co-founding — venture collective StartupLynk

A collective connecting early-stage founders with capital, advisors, and each other. Because ecosystems only work when the right people actually find each other.

004
Building — coming soon publicltd.co

The A-to-Z platform for Indian Public Limited companies — from conversion and listing readiness to SEBI compliance and shareholder management. Because the IPO journey deserves the same clarity pvtltd.co brought to incorporation.

005
Running — est. 2018 Harun Raaj & Associates

My chartered accountancy practice, founded in Vizag — now a technology-enabled tax, audit & advisory firm serving 200+ clients across India. Because a CA firm can ship software too — 26 free tools and counting.

How I got here

My father didn't hand me a business. He was too busy building one of India's largest social service networks.

During his tenure, he grew Vasavi Clubs International from 5,000 to over 150,000 members — through people, presence, and an extraordinary commitment to community. He has contacts at the highest levels of society. He has never once used them for personal gain.

I am not that person. I'm the one sitting in the corner, quietly thinking about business models. He filled rooms. I fill spreadsheets.

Growing up watching the family's Bombay Dyeing showroom take a back seat to his social commitments, I developed a quiet, stubborn obsession with business — with how things are built, funded, structured, and scaled.

CA was a challenge I set for myself. I completed it. Along the way, I had the privilege of working with Pattabhi Ram and M P Vijaykumar — stalwarts in CA education — helping refine their textbooks. My name is somewhere in those pages. Pattabhi Sir made me fall in love with Strategic Financial Management. That love has never left.

I qualified in 2014, but was deep in the startup world since 2012. I always believed tax filing was a dead end — a piece of code would eat it — so while others built traditional practices, I went toward startups, advisory, and modern financial thinking.

That obsession with finance never stopped. I went on to clear CFA Level 2 — not because anyone asked me to, but because Strategic Financial Management is the one subject I never got tired of.

That path led here.

"CA was a challenge I set for myself. I completed it."
2012 First stepped into the startup world
2014 Qualified as Chartered Accountant. Chose startup advisory over traditional practice.
2018 Founded Harun Raaj & Associates in Vizag. A CA firm that actually cares about building businesses.
2020 Married Sneha Sree at the peak of COVID. The whole country was locked down — we locked in. Best decision I ever made.
CFA Cleared Level 2. Because Strategic Financial Management is the one subject I never got tired of.
2024 Co-founded BrandXChange — a marketplace for brands, designers & production houses. Later set it aside to go deeper on compliance infra.
Now Building pvtltd.co, makeitlegit.in, publicltd.co — fixing what I've seen broken for 14 years.

Old regime or new? The question every salaried Indian asks once a year. Rough it out here — AY 2026-27, slabs as amended by the Finance Act 2025. A working paper, not a filing.

Auditor's note.

In my opinion —

I watched a profession full of smart people compete for attention. I decided to compete differently — with products, not presence.

Unqualified opinion · issued freely
5.1

Compliance shouldn't require a translator. A decade after GST was announced, parallel taxes still co-exist as if nothing changed. The founders I've worked with spend weeks on paperwork that should take hours.

5.2

India's judicial system is a bottleneck to its own growth story. The pace of legal resolution is quietly driving some of the country's sharpest minds to set up elsewhere. That's a loss we can't afford.

5.3

The next generation of founders should be building, not navigating. Archaic laws, redundant taxes, and opaque processes are innovation taxes on every entrepreneur who doesn't have a CA on speed dial.

5.4

The rule-based half of my own profession is automatable — and that's good news. Code should file the returns; the CA should exercise judgment. I'm building my practice on that bet, not defending against it. And every AI output still cites its section — because trust, not speed, is the product.

Building something in India?

If you're a founder navigating the compliance and legal side of starting or running a business — and need someone who understands both the business and the law — I'm happy to talk.

Not for vanity incorporations, shortcut structures, or founders looking for checkbox compliance.

Or just email directly: harunraaj@gmail.com
